About Vertigo a.s.b.l.
Vertigo asbl is a non-profit making association
founded in Brussels by Guy Maezelle in 1994. The association has
a VAT number and it’s book keeping is done by Neumark&
Associates, an accounting company specialised in the artistic field.
The association is not concerned about making big
profits, its goal is to promote and back cultural or artistic projects
in the audiovisual domain, stage theatre, dance, literature , etc…so
as to be able to work with small budgets, VERTIGO asbl functions
on the basis of a light framework that has a proven track record
in the backing of creative projects.
1995 :
VERTIGO asbl produces and distributes the short film « L’innocence
interdite » (forbidden innocence) directed by Guy Maezelle
and shot in 35mm. This film was distributed for television and was
selected for a number of international festivals. The film won several
prizes.
1996 - 1997 :
VERTIGO asbl actively participates in the creation of the Festival
du Film Fantastique de Suisse « 2300 Outerspace » (horror
film festival). For the first two editions 2 advertising films and
4 30’’ promo clips shot in 35mm were produced in the
framework of a promotional campaign for the festival destined for
cinemas and television.
2003 – 2006 :
VERTIGO asbl produces a documentary film entitled: « Bokar
Rimpoche : meditation master», (57’) and directed by
Guy Maezelle. |
